Jake is a proven innovator who has spent his career helping organizations move to the next level using a variety of continuous improvement methodologies. He is particularly strong in helping organizations think differently about their business processes and providing strategies for executing change. Jake is a thought leader whose background in finance combined with his process improvement experience can help organizations ensure their initiatives deliver bottom line results. He is also passionate about facilitating Lean Six Sigma classes and mentoring others pursuing continuous improvement projects. 

 

The following is a representative sample of a few of Jake's engagements:

 

- Led a cash optimization program for a Treasury - Finance organizations resulting in $100M+ of free cash flow over the course of two years. Also experienced in leading multiple back-office finance projects in a shared services environment.

- Developed the strategy and led the execution of a complete technology transformation in a call center organization.

- Lean Six Sigma internal consultant for a global retailer where areas of responsibility led to driving improvements in Global Sourcing, Logistics and Transportation, Merchandising, and Store Operations.

- Provided thought leadership and process improvement expertise in streamlining data center processes.

 

Jake also expresses his passion for innovation by his involvement in the business start-up community. In 2014 he took third place at a competitive Education Technology start-up for event for developing an innovative way of tracking and quantifying knowledge acquired through informal learning.

 

Jake is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt who holds a Bachelors degree in Finance and a Master's of Business Administration. He also spent 14 years in the Army National Guard where he worked in the maintenance and quality control of UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. He is also the chair of the Northwest Arkansas American Society for Quality.
